or its pointless?

WooWooOwl Wed 05-Feb-14 20:41:10

YANBU.

AIBU to ask you what you had for tea

YES YOU FUCKING ARE

etc

Sparklingbrook Wed 05-Feb-14 20:42:16

I think the ones that say 'AIBU to ask you........' should be in Chat.

whatareyoueventalkingabout Wed 05-Feb-14 20:42:54

Thread about my thread! Sorry for being a douche bag. Forgive me?

KurriKurri Wed 05-Feb-14 20:44:03

I agree.

But then if we are going to ban the plainly not unreasonable "AIBU to be proud of my DH for saving 300 people from a volcano eruption single handed" type threads, we might have to ban the blatantly unreasonable "AIBU to steal all the money from my elderly mother's purse while she is asleep so I can buy my own weight in foam bananas" threads.

And they are the best fun grin

Sparklingbrook Wed 05-Feb-14 20:45:07

TBF what you would have probably got more replies in Chat under a 'Centre parcs-what are you top tips?' type heading.

whatareyoueventalkingabout Wed 05-Feb-14 20:46:13

can I move it? Am new to this. Sorry for pissing people off?

Sparklingbrook Wed 05-Feb-14 20:48:39

You aren't pissing people off what. You can post wherever you like. Really. It's just that AIBU can get a bit bunfighty that's all. sad

ChaosTrulyReigns Wed 05-Feb-14 20:50:22

Hmm...

I thought I'd got it pegged who you were.

But now I reckon you could be Trills.

Oh, I'm so torn.

I could even start an ABIU

whatareyoueventalkingabout Wed 05-Feb-14 20:51:20

ah thanks but I can see how it would make people eye rolly.

WooWooOwl Wed 05-Feb-14 20:51:23

what I hadn't even noticed your thread before I was agreeing with OP, loads of other people do it. Don't worry about it.

whatareyoueventalkingabout Wed 05-Feb-14 20:53:39

Ah thanks too.

Finabhear Wed 05-Feb-14 20:54:44

A aibu subsection for those who have seeking suspicion that they are unreasonable but really want to end up in a gunfight - fightclub

Sparklingbrook Wed 05-Feb-14 20:56:17

A gunfight? shock No buns?

Finabhear Wed 05-Feb-14 20:58:43

Buns **
Clearly I ment bunfight! MNers should never be allowed guns and aibu grin

Finabhear Wed 05-Feb-14 21:00:38

Oops and sneeking not seeking, blardy spelcheck/autocorrect

Sparklingbrook Wed 05-Feb-14 21:03:39

<arf> at 'spelcheck' grin

HollaAtMeBaby Wed 05-Feb-14 21:06:00

YANBU, this really pisses me off. I like things in their proper places! and don't even get me started on "posting here for traffic". angry

Amrapaali Wed 05-Feb-14 21:06:01

AIBU is a complete snorefest.

Try reading every thread there aloud. "Am I being unreasonable to..." followed by some crashingly boring subject matter. Your brain will start to hurt.

And more amusing are threads where the OP clearly knows she is unreasonable. "Am I unreasonable? I know I am but I still want you all to stroke my hair and feed me grapes and tell me I am the absolute dog's bollocks/Queen of the Bleeding Hearts."

Sparklingbrook Wed 05-Feb-14 21:07:07

Nee-naw nee-naw Thread police. grin

Finabhear Wed 05-Feb-14 21:28:10

Stepping away from the ap now as I clearly can't drive it blush

Topaz25 Wed 05-Feb-14 22:52:35

The thing is, people post here for traffic because other areas aren't as active, maybe if they actually posted there then they would be!

MardyBra Wed 05-Feb-14 23:01:29

Didn't you start the same thread a few days ago OP? YWNU then, YANBU now but YNTBABMI (you need to be a bit more innovative).

MardyBra Wed 05-Feb-14 23:11:24

However in the spirit of this thread, I think I'm going to challenge a few non AIBUs clearly posted there "for extra traffic".
