I think the ones that say 'AIBU to ask you........' should be in Chat.

Thread about my thread! Sorry for being a douche bag. Forgive me?

Report
KurriKurri · 05/02/2014 20:44

I agree.

But then if we are going to ban the plainly not unreasonable "AIBU to be proud of my DH for saving 300 people from a volcano eruption single handed" type threads, we might have to ban the blatantly unreasonable "AIBU to steal all the money from my elderly mother's purse while she is asleep so I can buy my own weight in foam bananas" threads.

And they are the best fun Grin

TBF what you would have probably got more replies in Chat under a 'Centre parcs-what are you top tips?' type heading.

You aren't pissing people off what. You can post wherever you like. Really. It's just that AIBU can get a bit bunfighty that's all. Sad

YANBU, this really pisses me off. I like things in their proper places! and don't even get me started on "posting here for traffic". Angry

AIBU is a complete snorefest.

Try reading every thread there aloud. "Am I being unreasonable to..." followed by some crashingly boring subject matter. Your brain will start to hurt.

And more amusing are threads where the OP clearly knows she is unreasonable. "Am I unreasonable? I know I am but I still want you all to stroke my hair and feed me grapes and tell me I am the absolute dog's bollocks/Queen of the Bleeding Hearts."

The thing is, people post here for traffic because other areas aren't as active, maybe if they actually posted there then they would be!

Didn't you start the same thread a few days ago OP? YWNU then, YANBU now but YNTBABMI (you need to be a bit more innovative).

Report
MardyBra · 05/02/2014 23:11

However in the spirit of this thread, I think I'm going to challenge a few non AIBUs clearly posted there "for extra traffic".
