To be really upset

That DH left my lovely boy out in the garden for 45 minutes while watching match of the day ? He forgot about him. He was shivering and wet obviously when he came in. Although why he didn't knock the door to be let in is beyond me...
Anyway he has had plenty of cuddles since he came in and has now been wrapped in a blanket to keep him warm.
Would l be unreasonable to insist that DH sleeps outside tonight as punishment ?.
My boy is only 2
