anyone recommend a plastic underwire bra for 32F?

hi there...have had an impossible time trying to find a plastic underwire bra or a really really supportive non wired bra. I work in a secure environment and keep setting of the security alarms...the only metal i have on me is the underwired bra! gah! i ordered a non wired one from M&S but it doesnt last the day and my boobs end up dragging on the floor!!! ok a slight exageration but has any of you larger boobied ladies had any success with obtaining a plastic (or just non metal) underwired bra? or a support non wired one...

What about a sports bra?? I was a 38H (now a 34E) and find Shock Absorber bras to be really good - though I do only use them for exercise - my tits aren't going anywhere in one of those!

Surely it is up to your employer to ensure that wired bras are taken into account in their security procedures.

You don't see women taking their bras off at airport security.

I know they aren't non metal, but I can vouch for Prima Donna bras being amazing for big boobs. Rigby & Peller do them, although they are about £70. They last for ages though.

I'm a 32EE and currently wearing a non-wired soft cup Bravissimo in 30FF - this one .

I also have this Freya one but in a 34DD (due to weird John Lewis fitting lady) but Bravissimo fitter reckoned it was ok. It's slightly padded, and has a moulded shape rather than underwires.

Forgot to say OP, the v good Bravissimo fitter told me that you may need a different size in a soft cup - hence my 30FF.

I've set off airport alarms all over the world with my bras. In Frankfurt last year I had to go to a special cubicle. It's incredibly annoying as it is clearly the underwires or the hooks at the back setting off the machines.

If you're prepared to handwash how about these from playtex? The "underwire" is plastic - I'm a 34DD and have found them very comfy

I would go for the wonderbra ultimate strapless too - it has plastic "fingers" and doesn't look like a strapless under clothes (i.e. no weird shape!)

most UK brands don't do a ee so you would want to start with a 32f in them. However ime the fit on the wonderbra is a bit strange so I would strongly suggest finding a shop who stock it or ordering a few sizes. debenhams tend to stock it in store. Some people wear their normal size but many don't-I think breast shape influences it a lot. I normally wear a 30hh. I have a 32g wonderbra which fits very well although in an ideal world it would be a 30gg

Fantasie Full Cup Smoothing Bra? Comes in large cup sizes including 32F, in fact I think you can go down a cup size as they are pretty generous.

thank you all for your really helpful suggestions...if i had money i would invest in platice underwiring as it seems to be sorely lacking!...to Beryl streep...the reason is that where i work there are security shrouds and if you set it off then you have to be wanded...every time...no exceptions! this is a massive pain to me and causes a tail back and i would rather just walk straight through...i shall look at the playtex option as they also seem to have wider straps...what is it with bra manufacturers that think a tiny bit of string is going to hold up your bazongas and not try and seperate your shoulders from the rest of your body!! they haven't thought about weight of said bazongas?? grr...

i did think of replacing the underwires in my current bra's with plastic replacement underwiring...the thought being...just whip out the wires...replace with plastic alternative...but i cant seem to find anything...now that has set me thinking (dangerous..i know!) but...can anyone suggest an alternative plastic product that might suffice as a replacement? am willing to sacrifice some bra's to experiment!
