I can hear it now, whispering from the freezer, 'eat me, eat me. I won't make you fat. I promise. Go on. Just a little bit. You know you want to'.

Do you think it can shout, too?

I think I can hear a tub yelling from the Co-op up the road. Unfortunately it is now closed, so I may have to smash and grab or ram-raid.

I could always name the pudding as an accessory in Court. Confused

Because it sounds rank. Salt and ice-cream Confused. But it is the most amazing ice-cream I've ever had.

Don't go there Hashtag - it has at least sixteen billion calories per tablespoonful.

It has also been known to wake householders up in the middle of the night with its selfish lies and attention seeking behaviour.

My Dad eats the carte dor one. On waffles with bananas and toffee sauce.

Very, very infrequently I might add. It's his special treat for the days he pretends he hasn't had a quadruple bypass.

In answer to its evilness may I point out the quadruple bypass? Wink

This is why I don't go into the freezer aisles anymore, I'm already in a dysfunctional relationship with Ben & Jerry.

I've got YooMoo chocolate frozen yoghurt with maple syrup and a sprinkle of salt. Works out at 130 calories per large serving.

What is this new form of deliciousness? Where can I get it? No, don't tell me, I don't need to know.

My mum bought some for family lunch at hers tomorrow, should I pull a sickie and not go?

Do you think that the Carte D'Or caused the necessity for the bypass, Honey?

Is there no depth that this comestible will not plumb?

Shit the bed - just re-read that HoneyDad eats it on waffles with bananas and toffee sauce.

That sounds totally fecking amazing. I may just book myself in for a bypass just in case. It'd probably be worth it.

All of those pale into insignificance with the true salted caramel ice cream found in Brittany.

Oh and I thought the H-D Pralines and Cream was the most delicious ice cream in the world and the universe ever but they do salted caramel? A marriage made in heaven. Oh my! Now I have got to buy some. OP YABVU to draw my attention to its very existence.

I bought it by mistake the other day, was reaching for the pralines and cream and didn't read the label properly. GOOD MISTAKE

I asked for a two scoop tub of it yesterday I was so unbearably hot and the salesperson warded me against it so I had one scoop of strawberry sorbet (very creamy sorbet Hmm) and one of the SC.

So evil that the people selling it have to ration it for our own good.

I shouldn't have read this. Am off to the shops now.

Not HD version, the shops own version but I'm assuming it's all much of a muchness.

Tesco Finest Salted Caramel Sauce is bliss in a jar. Very good on warm brownies. Dribble.

Is the HD one superior to carte d'or one? I have a tu of carte d'or and I like but not to crazy levels -am I missing something?

I get mine from an independent and haven't tried others.
