For my 17 year old nephew(in law) to have fun in Manchester tonight with his friends?

ImTooHecsyForYourParty Fri 12-Apr-13 22:16:34

Depends what kind of fun, really.

out and about dancing and having fun - yes

underage drinking or making a pest of himself - no

Who thinks it's not ok and why?

everlong Fri 12-Apr-13 22:18:05

Fun? Explain.

NoelHeadbands Fri 12-Apr-13 22:18:34

Huh?

Shakey1500 Fri 12-Apr-13 22:19:54

Yanbu

ladymalfoy Fri 12-Apr-13 22:23:00

He's quite mature but he does like to dance and stuff. I think he'll be ok as he only lives in Wilmslow and has gone 'into town' before.

WorraLiberty Fri 12-Apr-13 22:25:00

HairyGrotter Fri 12-Apr-13 22:25:03

He waited to 17...?!

everlong Fri 12-Apr-13 22:25:43

What's he doing? Pub, club? Who's he with?

Hemlet Fri 12-Apr-13 22:26:31

I'm remarkably pissed off at this revelation.

Tortington Fri 12-Apr-13 22:26:32

<does not understand why this is even a thread

ladymalfoy Fri 12-Apr-13 22:28:30

I worry because he's a smashing lad and I want him to be ok.

MsBella Fri 12-Apr-13 22:38:29

He will be fine don't worry! He's only a year off 18

ladymalfoy Fri 12-Apr-13 22:43:04

Thanks missb. He's only 8 months off his 18th so I think he'll be fine. I just remember him when he was 10.

grovel Fri 12-Apr-13 22:48:12

It's OK. Be forgiving if he makes a prat of himself. He's young.

I'm assuming he knows he the difference between silly and nasty? Generally the police do. Thank God.

HoHoHoNoYouDont Fri 12-Apr-13 22:52:17

Ah, I remember my days drinking in Manchester City Centre. It's full of kids these days, average age 17 grin
