Thanks for this, didn't know it existed!

Mark Thomas is brilliant live, hysterically funny and poignant when he talks about those in need. I saw him once and cried tears of laughter and sadness, without a doubt best gig ever!

I was just thinking about finding some MT, the other day. He's quite superb. Many thanks for the link.

I saw this at Soho Theatre. Great show!

It is fab and he is very tall and attractive in RL too grin
I do love a slightly anarchic lefty comedian

I listened to this by chance yesterday and it was really funny. Someone suggested single people wear something that lets others know they are single, hilarious ideas proposed.

When's it on (the radio)?

CrikeeThree Fri 05-Apr-13 20:28:08

His one-man show about his dad is also on I-Player here
Mark Thomas Bravo Figaro

It's brilliant. Funny, touching, thought-provoking... really worth a listen.

Mark Thomas is just wonderful. I've seen him live three times - the last one being his 'Bravo Figaro' show, which I listened to again on Radio 4 on Sunday evening - and burst into tears at the end... He is superb..!!

If you get the chance, watch his DVD 'Serious Organised Criminal' it's one of the funniest things I've ever watched...grin

CrikeeThree I love you. I wanted to see this in Edinburgh but it was on at the wrong times for me!

LingDiLong Fri 05-Apr-13 21:21:05

I love Mark Thomas! The Manifesto is available as a book too and it's really funny. I've also seen Bravo Figaro and completely agree - it was superb, funny and moving all at the same time.

GrendelsMum Fri 05-Apr-13 21:22:54

Love Mark Thomas. He has been one of my heroes for years now because of his combination of activism and comedy. Seen him live five times.

Extremely sensible recommendation. Love him. Love the show. Spread the word!

I thought one of the best manifesto proposals was:

Legalise murder -- it will encourage everyone to be nice to each other.grin
