first of all I would rather drink piss than BH , hate the way it's marketed to women. feminine wine? fuck off and die

secondly their advertising people must be of very low intuition to think that an advert using the words "Yummy Mummy" would appeal to the MN demographic

Blossom Hill marketing? FAIL

feeling ranty
almost as bad as the Boden patent "Slough Office Manager" shoes advert they had on for ages

That said, if DH comes home with a bottle of it later I will in fact drink it.

I have very weak morals. Blush

I see the ad now on this page but i am more shocked by the fact it is low alcohol wine. What do they take us mumsnetters for? Do they think we would stoop so shockingly low as to replace our lovely FULL alcohol wine with something like this. The cheek.

MNers are just a bunch of cunty hairy legged feminist vipers arn't they? More akin to a neat bottle of jack Daniels than a dainty tipple ala blossom hill.

Pah! Low alcohol is hardly worth getting a glass out for.

Have a glass of weak elderflower cordial or flat lemonade. Save your yummy money.

Jack Daniels? Are you crazy?

Scotch.

Irish at a pinch.

For some, the while yummy mummy thing is aspirational.
I imagine they drink wine because that's what yummy mummies do and not because they necessarily enjoy it, so a wine marketed in this way makes for an easy purchase in the absence of any other preference/interest.

I'm enjoying a bottle right now while watching The Big Bang Theory before I go out!
