...To consider taking DS here?

Thinking of going to Disneyland Paris with DP and DS. DS would be 20 months old when we go, and we're gonna do the voucher thing from The Sun.

Thing is, I'm a bit unsure about it all. I realise that it's just £9.50 for entry and the ferry across, but we'd have to stay over at least one night which is an extra £99, or two nights is £179. We'd have to buy food and toys and petrol - is it worth it? Would have to get a passport for me and him too.... Would he appreciate it?

Is he even old enough to realise?!

Depending on where you live you can do Disney and back in a day . We live in Kent and have done loads of day trips there ,although that's been on the channel tunnel. It's only about 2.5 hrs in the car once you're in France . Obviously better if you can share the driving .if you're going to stay at a Disney hotel you get park entry for every day that you're there so its prob not worth bothering with the offer .

He is a bit young to appreciate it, and certainly too young to remember it.

We took DD when she was 10 months, 17 months, 2.3 & for her 3rd Birthday.
The first time she didn't care, but we still had a fun time.
The second time when she was 17 months she loved it. We went at Christmas and we had a lovely time, but it was very cold.
The first 2 times we went with my sister, her partner & children aged 7 & 5 the 3rd time with 2of DD's friends & their parents & the last time with niece & nephew again.
If you've got the money to spare then yes it's brilliant. If not I'd wait until the spring when the weather is better & go midweek when it's not so busy.
