Oh wow! I've dropped off DS to nursery and am spending the day in bed MNing. I feel exhausted and like I have vicariously done lots of housework just from reading your post!

YABU. You make me feel inadequate and lazy. (OK, I'm not inadequate, but I am lazy.)

I did that yesterday, I felt proud. I wake this morning to the house rearranged back to how it was before. Gah.

Oh and my cat knocked 12 eggs off the top of the fridge, so that was nice.

Well done!

I've also been up since 6am.

I've lazed in bed, mooched on the internet, had some breakfast, mooched some more, had coffee and am now in the process of transitioning from mooching into going for a shower and getting dressed. :o

I woke at 4, played with the DC in bed at 6, got up at 7.30, made them breakfast. Laid on the sofa and had a nap, made breakfast for myself. MNed a bit and FBed a bit.

I have spent 2 hours cleaning the kitchen.
I may reward myself with lunch out.

I have booked a haircut, I have offloaded DD to the PIL, I have cleared the living room and rung my mum to check she's better today.

Next I am off to have a nice lunch out and then to the hairdressers.

I quite fancy weeding the front garden too.

And my sister thinks my overdue baby is going to arrive today? I doubt it! Wink

I got up at 5am to feed 2wk old DD, then snoozed untill DS (aged 2) got up at 6:45am and came in to my room for me.. We watched 'where the wild things are' for half an hour then came down for cornflakes.. Since then we've all got dressed, I've tided toys/living room, cleaned kitchen, bins out, washing in, dryer on, clothes all folded and put away, fed 2wk old again, fed DS again... DD now napping and I'm just enjoying a brew and a quick mumsnet before DS and I join her! Grin

I want to go and clean the whole house after reading this post now. I hardly get anything done these days as my 9 month old cries for attention every 2 mins. I remember when I could clean and hoover the whole house in an hour when I had no children. Ah, those were the days!

Hmm yes did something similar yesterday and had a sparkling house by midday. Aftermath of dh and dds last night means the house looks messier than it did yesterday and the monsters ate all the halloween biscuits I baked for a prty next door this evening. Grr I'm less industrious today.
I did make more biscuits and cupcakes but I'm hiding them. And possibly eating ten percent with a cup of tea while I mn.

In my defence I've had a busy week of job interviews, looking at nurseries and childminders, cleaning, food shopping n sorting out Ds' old clothes so today is a well earned rest.

First day off in weeks that didn't include getting up at 6.15 for school run.

I have made breakfast and made a Halloween outfit of an undead rogue from WOW.

I have unloaded the dishwasher and made the dc (and me) bacon and eggs. And fed the cats. And have spent a wasteful morning on mnet. Need to:

Have bath
Do big grocery shop
Go to bank
Go to building society
Post letter
tidy downstairs
tidy our bedroom
Make a big difference to the mess level before DH comes home at 8pm(ish) tonight Grin
Bag up all the shite in DS's bedroom that he has been nagged to deal with for the last two years and hasn't.

Nuttyprofessor, pictures please!! [hgrin] If you've made warglaives I will be very impressed.

There must be something in the air today. DD and I got up at 6.30, breakfasted, washed and dressed by 7.30. I've got chilli in the slow cooker, I've cleaned the kitchen, dusted and hoovered all of upstairs, cleaned both bedroom's windows, completely cleared out and reorganised the laundry room, got my 2nd load of laundry on, reorganised DD's room, and cleared a good chunk of toys from the living room. Oh, and I polished the kitchen cupboard doors in an attempt to keep them cleaner for a bit longer this time!

We're going to have lunch in a minute, then DD will hopefull be having a nap while I drink tea and MN. This afternoon we're making mini pumpkin pies and halloween biscuits and decorating the front of the house.
