AIBU?

to request an "I agree with Hecate"(TM) T-shirt?

For quite some time now, I've observed that when I create a thoughtful, considered, and eloquent response to an OP, I'll then read through the thread before posting and find that Hecate has posted exactly what I wanted to say but much better. Then I'm left with nothing to say but

"I agree with Hecate"

or

"What Hecate said"

I've also observed that quite a few other MN'ers encounter the same phenomenon.

As a time saving device, I feel that I can just use IAWH as my standard response to any and all MNet questions.

But I wonder if I could save further time and brain power in my life outside Mumsnet by deferring judgement to Hecate as well. Perhaps a T-shirt or placard that says "Go Ask Hecate" will leave me free to watch daytime TV whilst sipping fruity beverages.

We should petition our own emoticon for that Grin

I usually always agree with Hecate as well, she is a wise lady.

YABU to request it.

MNHQ isn't here to make you t-shirts.

If you want one you can go and get one made but do remember that this is the internet and no-one will be able to see you wear it.

Or a pic of Hecate looking thoughtful, with some kind of halo around her head saying 'What Would Hecate Do?'

What you are implying though, is that Hecate is right even in situations where she has not yet commented. Even in situations she knows nothing about.

Therefore Hecate is right before you even know something is wrong.

Surely that prooves the validility of the entire fortune telling industry. I see great things in Hecate's future. She must be at least the new Nostradamus. If not Mystic Meg Shock

Yanbu. I have the same problem. I don't post half the time because she's said what I wanted to say but better if I have a problem I might just start a thread with the title shouting out for her Grin

Trillian--You make valid points there. A T-shirt referring people to Hecate won't work if people don't know who Hecate is. Need to put some more thought into this...

Ah, but that is not a problem with virtual T-shirts.
