Christmas. Tesco, this morning, were busily laying out their Christmas displays for advent calendars and selection boxes.

Have a baby due 3 weeks before Christmas, so need to get cracking. Any ideas of some websites to get gifts?

Sorry, pressed 'send' too soon. Try the supermarket websites to compare gifts/prices. We find that helpful.

I tend to get everything from amazon or play.com (free delivery)

If you are ordering online though make sure you order by november at latest regardless of what the website claims

Fabby, it isn't too late in the day for me to start.

Yes but I don't know what to buy, my brain is scrambled and my bloody husband is no use.

Advice for the 3 week old, money to be put in the bank for child's future. Newborns always end up with a ridiculous amount of clothes/teddies when the are born from family/friends.

Here's my bought list already
DNieces 10yo + 11yo- Moshi monsters gift set with 3 months online membership[the new big interest to the children I know at the mo] Also bought one for DS

DNephew8yo - 3 Richard Hammond Blast labs / science tests - all different experiments. Also bought one each for DS 7yo and DD13yo

DNephew5yo - fantastic police lego set, he is a massive lover of lego, and anything that nee-nors

DNephew3yo - a play kitchen set -he is always playing with my DDs when he visits, do have to get him some pretend food, as the kitchen did not have much with it

Have a look at 'The entertainer' website, they are having a massive sale on at the moment, and spend over £30 for free deleivery.
Hope this helps x

If you go on to The Entertainer the Richard Hammond ones are all half price, which is why I bought my nephew 3

I have just spent two nights (7 to 9 September, ffs!) in a hotel (which I will not advertise) with a massive great C-tree in the lobby.

HUMBUG even in December . . . but now?

There's a Christmas topic where you can say the C word whenever you like...
