just a total rant Angry

I know I am not being unreasonable!

Woke up this morning with terrible d&v, closely followed by 2older dd's who are so bad I have had to put baby nappies on them as it's just running from them :( (10&7)

We have all been throwing up/sat on toilet with basin in hand-not my first choice of Saturday activities!

Dh been great at keeping the baby away from us and running up and down with water etc but if I hear one more sarcastic comment about how the house smells I may have to lock him out!

It's not really pleasant for me that after 11years together he has heard me on the toilet for the first time with full sound effects.

I have opened all the windows, clean the toilet after everyuse and sprayed air freshner, what else does he think I can do Angry

Chances are he will get it too - by then you'll be better hopefully and can moan at him for his shitty smell :) YANBU

I imagine it'll be his turn in a few hours and then perhaps you'll have revenge, mwahahah...

Of course YANBU, he is quite capable (I assume) of buggering off to a more fragrant location with your baby until the bug has run its course, and rather more support would have been nice (assume you can get your own water in the meantime if you are camped in the bathroom?). Can't be expected to be amusing and light hearted company (let alone smelling of roses) until it has.

Poor you, sounds horrid.

Vomit on him, that will distract him from any other smells

OMG that sounds awful :(

It's probably not what you want to hear - but I'm betting he just said it without really thinking how you'd feel - after all, I'm sure it does smell awful.

How the hell did you make it to 11 years & 3 kids without him hearing you on the loo?

Birds that sounds terrible :(

No idea chipping, I don't get ill often and we have 3 toilets so I use the one furthest away.

I have got candles in the bathroom but don't feel up to supervising the dc when they go in just now.

Vomiting on him is sounding like a plan ;)

I am actually feeling slightly better, my whole body aches though like I have the flu and my back is killing me from all the retching.

Hope you all feel better soon .

Birds how can you faint every time? Is it a phobia?

If he has any signs of developing this bug, he absolutely should not fly tomorrow. It sounds like a pretty nasty, fast spreading bug, so one can only imagine how fast it would spread around an aeroplane full of passengers. Not to mention, how bloody awful it would be to be that ill on a plane, with those horrible tiny loos.

It's a military flight he will be on, not actually sure if it will even have a toilet Hmm

No doubt even if he did speak to the superiors they would take the risk Hmm

YANBU. We had this bug a couple of weeks ago while ds1 was staying at mil's for a few days (he stayed over a few days extra so he wouldn't catch it) Then last week ds1 ended up with it. Even the dog had the squits.
Don't worry about the smell, its not nice but there's not a lot you can do about it.
I would really feel for your dh if he caught this bug when he was on a flight.

You don't need candles, just light a match, let it burn then blow it out.

Ooer, no toilet Shock It definately won't be pleasant for the others on the flight.
