Oh, I feel for you. really. But hey! go down and cause a fuss! at least you get to flirt interact with the firemen.

ooh I would be down there like a flash! but I am a nosy mare neighborhood watch type person. You must have some marabou trimmed slippers and matching negligee that you can throw on so that you can offer them a cup of tea? (I am clearly living in a seventies sit-com Grin)

They won't all be looking for the leak. So go & offer them a cuppa & biscuits. They are mainly lads so they will be grateful. Don't forget to brush your hair & don't be wearing winnie the pooh PJs. Maybe they will fit you a new free smoke alarm because yours has been bleeping for days & you 'just don't know what to do.' ;)

Or just put ear plugs in.

I bet you are gorgeous just as you are! Nothing sexier than a freshly scrubbed girl all riled up and and that!

Although did have a marvellous firemen moment or two several years back, pre dc in shared house, when I went out to snoop check on a neighbour whose house had caught fire, found myself locked out and had to fling myself on their mercy to break back into mine!

A fireman asked me to hold his snickers bar once...said it was melting in his pocket.............

Envy I've got a pair of high-heeled marabou trimmed mules and a negligee I can slip out of into and I'd make a fireman very welcome at this time of night.

Oh dont even joke about it izzy, that's exactly what the firemen were trying to do re my snickers post...get my cat down from the tree. (I didn't call them I hasten to add). It was all very Blush. "i'll need you to hold this while I go up" etc...oh the shame.

That doesn't sound shameful at all, Frogs. Au contraire it sounds a most entertaining diversion of the kind I am sorely in need of.

There is never any shame involved in firemen attendance...

I did have another one when i was locked out of a shared house for hour (keys are not my forte) when just as one hunky chap was wriggling through a top window, who should appear but a housemate, who I tried to shoo away...being boy, he did not get my point....

Report
DrPolidori · 04/08/2011 01:58

I had to pay for that one. £60 it was then.

He was very muscular if you're into that kind of thing...and tanned (though it could have been spray on I guess). Darn, have images of the lovely Jim Clancy now .

A few years ago I was given the task of interviewing a whole shift of firefighters. I arrived drooling with anticipation with a professional sense of duty and a whiff of nostalgia for the days of London's Burning....

After the 8th middle aged, pot-bellied, balding man had pottered into the interview room I rather lost my enthusiasm!

I dated slept with a fireman once he really looked the part, tousled dark hair, just the right amount of muscles/ tan/chiseled jaw... Unfortunately that was is and the perfection stopped at the aesthetic side of things.... Personality side of things he was a complete idiot Blush
Oh well chalk it down to experience Grin

must be a diesel engine they really piss me off. years ago my next door neighbour had them round her letter box was set on fire turns out she did it herself but they spent an hour there. After they left the police turned up left their diesel engine running for another hour I went round the neighbours and said for god sake turn your engine off its driving us up the wall vibrating through the house they claimed they couldn't because they were on a call. I assume all fuel costs are charged to tax payers so they screw us both ways
