to have thrown a bucket of water over my bird?

We had a row last night, it was all her fault, she was being an absolute cow and wouldn't agree with me listen to reason.

I went down the pub and when I came back she was in bed sleeping peacefully as if nothing had happened and she hadn't been a cow.

So I threw a bucket of water over her face while she was asleep.

It was perfectly clean, and she deserved it, so what right does she have to be complaining about it now? All I did was moisten her a bit. I reckon it was pretty funny and if she can't see it she needs a sense of humour transplant.

I'm right, aren't I?

I mean of course you're right.

You are not being unreasonable at all.

If this is a thread about this thread then you have got it wrong, it was the woman who threw the water over the man hmm.

YANBU at all, infact if it was the other way round I would of recommended that she cut your dick off.

AuntiePickleBottom Sun 10-Jul-11 22:52:11

heidi - i think that was the point of this thread! people on the otehr thread found it funny that the woman done it to the bloke they obviously wanted to see peoples point of view if the table was turned! but still... biscuit

CocoPopsAddict Sun 10-Jul-11 22:57:28

Why do people always do the old let's-swap-the-gender-in-the-thread thing? So old, so not funny.

FabbyChic Sun 10-Jul-11 22:57:45

Take it this is in response to the other thread?

Im a cockney and use the term bird a lot

HeidiKat Sun 10-Jul-11 22:59:20

Ah right I get it now blush.

I don't find pouring water over someone funny whichever gender is doing it to the other, anyone who would do that is a knob.

LineRunner Sun 10-Jul-11 22:59:41

I was the first to respond on the other thread and said it was unacceptable.

HelloKlitty Sun 10-Jul-11 23:02:48

Heidi I think the OP of this thread KNOWS that it was a woman who threw it.....he/she is making a point that if a man ha thrown the water then things may have been seen as abusive when many people said it was not.

I said it was childish and not great but not abuse unless it was part of a pattern. As a one off just a bit shit. Stand by that regardless of the gender of the thrower and the throwee.
