They are so delicious and summery. It may be quite cold and bustery outside but having eaten about half a pound of them I feel like putting on a summer dress and possibly free-wheeling down a car-free road on my bike .

I bought first cherries of the season today too! I was a bit underwhelmed by them; I suspect they need a bit of time to ripen.

They are sort of decadent and summery though, YANBU

Oh no, I am so sorry to hear about all these disappointing cherry experiences. Mine are lovely, I hope they don't give me the shits though as I already working at home as I'm ill!

Our cherrys were lovely-at least those that we managed to get to before the birds were Peas are great too, but the dog keeps nicking those! :o
