I declined an invite last week to go to a laydees night any how's my friend who was hosting this party told me a psychic was there, then proceeded to tell me all the crap this lady told them.
Am I the only one that thinks they talk bollocks and feed on the misery of others or are they harmless?

Crap-spouters who prey on the sad and vulnerable

Depends...if they really do believe they have a gift and do it for nothing / nominal fee to lessen the grief of others, fine...it's harmless and can be a great comfort.

But the real shady shysters who cold read people, and capitalise on their sorrow for bazillions should be, along with chuggers and doorsteppers, yes, you've guessed it, boiled in oil.

I think it's tosh but sometimes wonder how many believe in it themselves and genuinely feel they are helping others.

If they really do believe they have a gift then they are bonkers.

And should be avoided at all costs.

That's what my dad said cold readers. When my mom died so called friends said go and see a medium and I said no I won't spend money on some loon telling me my moms looking down on me. They prey on the bereaved I think it awful.

Mostly harmless- some people believe it all.

I think it's a larf but hate idea of them praying on the vunerable, know some is mercenary.
