Inspired by passive so I thought I'd start a thread about the little sods that blight my life.
AIBU to want to strangle them? (only kidding animal lovers)

I neither love them or loathe them. I am indifferent.

I hate them, and pigeons, and all birds.
They flap and do bird noises, and are all beaky and footy.
Also, they do poos on people.
I hate all birds.

They wake me up. They screech when I'm trying to get to sleep. They frighten the nice birds in my garden. They shit like an upended pot of yoghurt - usually on my car. They are ugly and greedy and stupid and I do wish they'd fuck off!

They should be banned between May and September and/or poisoned with extra strong pepper and attacked with water pistols on sight, obviously.

I have actually bought an extra portion of chips so that i can share with the "percies" What is not to like? I like the big ones, dont know what they are called but we mostly have black headed gulls around here. They do have an evil peck though, i used to be a vet nurse and they would peck like fuck, ungrateful little sods, they would get a beakful of skin and twist!! Still love them though, i love their really white feathers and the way they tilt their heads when they are waiting for their chips

I did actually finish with a guy once who got a strop on when i insisted on feeding the gulls. Hmmm, am i the avian equivalent of mad cat lady? Im not so keen on cats to be honest.

They're not 'sea'gulls... they hang out mostly at landfill sites scavenging god knows what. Them, magpies, wasps and squirrels.... total waste of DNA.

Seagulls are OK at the seaside. They should not come in land.

'All beaky and footy' Don't forget 'wingy'. Grin

They used to be seaside birds until humans developed landfill as a means of dealing with rubbish. We created a perfect environment for them so they moved inland.

They take food from people partly because they're scavengers but mostly because some people encourage them to do so. People look the same to them, so they've learnt not to be afraid of them and to see them as a source of food.
