... Like Adam Ant (watching him now) - is he not like the original Johnny Depp? Guys in make-up ... like Marilyn (1980s), Marc Almond, Gary Numan!

I can see the appeal of guys with pretty faces, long hair and a bit of individual style. I think there's quite a fine line between being a bit feminine but still sexy, and campness. I don't find campness appealing in a fantasy partner at all!

I see it! One of my boyfriends in the late 80s was extremely glam...he was beautiful! Long hair,eyeliner....lithe hips...he's probably a bald bank manager now. Sad

Ooh, not unreasonable at all! I definitely prefer girly men.

Douglas Booth (esp when he played Boy George), Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Brian Molko (with you there snuffle), David Sylvyian are all gorgeously girly.

Rather liking Iwan Rheon out of Misfits at the mo. He isn't quite as girly as the above mentioned, but definitely has feminine features.

Totally agree with MrBloomeatsveggies... IWan is very nice. I'm a but concerned that our age gap may be large. How old is he?

Early twenties I think, chubbly. A little young for me perhaps, I can dream though can't I? Grin. He has amazing eyes.

Mrbloomeatsveggies - yes he does! Early 20s is acceptable! Good I can perv away. Have you seen series 2 when he gets all confident? Rawr!!

MrBloomEatsVeggies · 27/05/2011 21:46

Ah chubbly, don't get me started on Iwan Grin. He's utterly devine. Loved series 2 when he was future Simon (shower scene!). Think I preferred him shy and geeky though, he needed corrupting!

Just googled his picture. I was thinking the curly haired ?Irish one. He played a male prostitute in one of the Lynda La Plant series and I'm sure he wore make-up.Can't shake the image.......

I was going to say that my ex/kids dad is quite feminine, in fact I used to call him Campy. You can have him if you like.

Benedict Cumberbatch in Sherlock. His face melts into a puddle. David Bowie, Brian Molko, there's something very attractive about an androgynous man

Does anyone remember the 80s advert for audio cassettes (yes I am that old).
There was a guy in a chair in a wind tunnel effect.
He had cheekbones you could cut yourself on.

Oh and I know this one is just freaky and not properly feminine maybe, but did anybody else have the tiniest crush on Ed Tudor-Pole off the Crystal Maze?

Report
chubbly · 27/05/2011 22:14

Lordoftheflies - yes! And I have to say it but Christian Slater in the early 80s films. I may be alone on that one!
