DD developed a a slight rash after wearing only a dress all day on Sunday.

I probably wasn't quite quick enough to realise it was a rash and nit eczema.

Very bad yesterday so has been treated four times with Sudacream, since first thing yesterday, is a bit less angry looking, but is there anything else I could try??

Am at Tesco now!!

Thanks guys

Piriton if it's an allergy.

And now reading properly that it's a chafing rash, just keep up with the sudocrem. Grin

sudocreme, or talc both work equally well..

Metanium - it works brilliantly when DD gets heat rash at the tops of her thighs. I wouldn't talc it if it's a rash - it could make it worse.

lanacane powder - expensive but does the trick!

Sorry should of said (was rushing) she is only 21 months! 'twas my fault (bad mummy!) she should of had some leggings on.

Also not totally convinced that her nappy isn't too big and bulky between her legs. Was a deal at asda so stocked up and bought some bigger sizes to last us (bad, refuses to pay full price for nappies, mummy).

Will keep on with the Sudacream. If it really doesn't clear up I will take her to GP tomorrow in case it gets worse over the weekend.

Thanks again

Plain zinc and castor oil cream- less additives that sudocreme which my little one is allergic too- zinc heals, castor oil helps reduce soreness by stopping chaffing- cheaper too :-) we use it for everything now!

Oh you put a dress on your little DD with nowt on underneath I thought it was a teenage DD. I am giving you a big black mark for that.

The black marks are adding up.....

. One for no leggings
. One for buying nappies too big for finacial gain (!)
. One for not noticing it was not eczema straight away

Forgive me MN, for I have sinned, i will try to make this my last confession !
