washing machine spin cycles

AIBU to think that when the washing machine says it has 1 min left to the end if its cycle, it should have 1 min left, and not 5 or more...

V petty of course but I don't think its BU to expect some small considerations from the domestic appliances!

My laptop told me yesterday that it would take about 20 mins to download. Then it changed it's mind and said 2 bleeding hours. Make yer mind up!

My washer is also the same. It also says whisper quiet which it is absolutely not! YANBU
