Heat rises! So the top of the house is meant to be warmer :-)

the top foot or so of my en-suite is warm, i could try and perch on top of the shower cubicle!! teh dc's room is above the living room specifically for that reason (heat rising) so my room doesn't get a look in. if ds weren't in a racing car bed then I'd climb in with him but as it is, teh dog's cage is looking very appealing! another one here with a freezing bedroom (and therefore still MNing from the warmth of the living room!).

Am thinking of buying an electric blanket, my bed is so cold most nights when I get in, anything to take the edge off would be good!

Try blowing hot air from a hairdryer between mattress and duvet for a minute, the heat won't last long but it'll be warm to get into.

My heating goes off at about 9 and the house soon loses the heat, I'm with the leccy blanket brigade. They are divine Smile

Definately electric blanket - I switch mine on low at about 8pm. Tis lovely when I go to bed AND you can leave it on when you sleep in it.

I saw this in the shops the other day
