Righto,

A friend and I both have kids that attend a club - my friend was helping at it (as i do too sometimes just to be an extra pair of hands). Last time she was on duty, she called and said that my son had had the runs and could i come to get him.

I did. It must have been a one off as he was fine and I am not quite sure what the deal was there but anyway he had told her after going to the loo and she had phoned me after to come and get him. I found out from the person who heads up the club my son could have stayed, but my friend had said no no, it could be infectious Ill phone her.

Anyway the club are going to the panto tonight.

Said friends child was puking last night, at least twice and violently. Friend is unable to drive so asked my hubby to drive her and her 3 kids. Her hubby is out at a works doo.

Feel a tad narked that its one rule for others ie me and one for her own! or am i being a premenstrual cow? Grin

I love my friend by the way just a bit pah about it as seems a bit of a cheek as she obviously didnt want her kids to miss out (naturally)....

Oh I must add my son was not upset when he had the runs, he apparantly told her quite happily (as he loves discussing his efforts (strange child) Wink)

I would feel exactly the same, but I am a stroppy mare at the best of times.

Oh would you.

I thought I was maybe being a bit grumpy but one off squits and violent puking do seem different to me and I am cross a bit as it was HER decision to call me over my childs squits so if thats her infection control stance how come it does not pertain to her own Lo's?
