DH and I have had phones with O2 for years. Both on same account. About a year ago his phone (v old) broke so he got a new one - and entered into new 24 month contract. I was still thinking about what to do.
Anyway finally decided this week after procrastinating for nearly 2 years to get a blackberry, with t mobile.
Call up o2 to get pac number to transfer my my number and I get told I was still in contract - my phone is over 5 years old.
Turns out they put DH's phone on my number.
Anyway have been on the phone to O2 and they "can't help me" as I didn't tell them at the time and the number apparently was on the t&c when the phone came.
DH VERY insistent that he told them his number and its their mistake although clearly he didn't check the t&cs.
So now i can't take my number (can take dh's) and he has to have my number. Not sure a big deal but annoying.
Superviser from 02 calling back to explain again that they can't help - any ideas?
Also it will cost £130 to get out of dh's contract, which is made as the phone he has would be around £50 on PAYG.
And to top it all off, DH has had 150 mins each month that he hasn't used, i only had 75 mins that i sometimes went over a bit because it was the wrong way around.
