Allergies and intolerances

So dd2 has eczema as well.......... Dreading weaning- any advice

After weeks of holding our breath, 11 to be precise, dd2 came out in a familiar flare of eczema.
dd1 has very bad eczema and weaning was a fairly stressful experience after a reaction to egg and various other foods.
I am exclusively bf and hope to carry on with this and delay weaning. Does anyone have any evidence base for this to keep me going with the bf or any other tips.
Thanks

You can delay weaning up to 8 mths without any problems with iron levels. Even though BM is low in iron. The iron from BM is still absorbed in higher levels than other iron fortified foods example formula anyway.

See Kellymom.com for advice on delaying weaning.

If you are exclusively BFG, especially for a little bit longer. It helps to sleep with your baby at night times. That way you can keep on top of your supply and demand milk production and your baby can have all milk he needs on tap to grow.

Apparently the least allergic possibility foods are lamb rice and pear. The dietitians have a chart which tells you which order to start weaning in. Think you are meant to take it really slowly and introduce new foods on their own and spaced out.
Poor you 2 with excema. dd1 doesn't have it or allergies so only have to deal with dd2 that's hard enough.
Good luck
