Is any one's child allergic to cough medicines such as tixylix - my son appears to be allergic to tixylix...

When you say allergic - what is the reaction?

valentine - one can be allergic to almost anything. Allergies being of varying degrees of slight reactions to anaphelectic (sp?) shock.

DD e.g. can't take Calpol as it makes her sick, but baby neurofen is fine. Don't think it's an allergy, just an intolerance though, or maybe she just doesn't like the flavour and it makes her gag...

My DD reacted by instantly getting a rash around his mouth and on his chest - and he is allergic to eggs.

might be one of the components then. Best and safest is to check with the pharmacist or your GP to avoid future attacks. Hope he gets better soon
