So my daughter has pretty much screamed since birth. Finally at 4 weeks I got a diagnosis of silent reflux. She still had funny bowl movements, dry skin, hard tummy, blotchy skin. She was then at 6 weeks put onto nutramigen. A few days later she had blood in her stool so after a trip to hospital she was out onto ranitidine. She has slightly improved, still screams alot, still screams passing wind having a bowl moment. Swings from constipated to diareah. She vomits sometimes wheb taking the ranitidine. She's now really raspy when laying down and constantly sneezing.
The last few days she's been vomiting like crazy and having awful smelly diareahh. I assumed a tummy bug but 3 days in no let up. Shes now 8 weeks old. Her cousin has cows milk allergy, soy and fish allergy and pretty much had the same symptoms.

I'm planning in going to hospital in a few hours as vomiting is getting worse not better.

Should I ask for a diffrent milk? Diff medication for the reflux? Or is it just a tummy bug?.
Since starting the nutramigen and ranitidine she has improved slightly but by no means what id say was a normal baby, still screams, still has awful tummy issues and reflux? Opinions? Advice. First time mum and have no idea what I'm doing. I'm 22 and it was hard enough to get gp to prescribe nutramigen or admit she had reflux. I was told the crying was colic. I guess it's because I'm young. Oh and to add, her temp is 37.1 So doesn't have a temprature, I'd expect one with a tummy bug

I’m surprised that you were given a diagnosis of silent reflux, I always thought that was a symptom rather than a condition.

How did you get on at the Hospital?

Her reflux isn't so silent anymore. She ended up being blue lighted to hospital as she wouldn't wake up. I was told that she defo has a milk allergy and the vomiting had made her blood sugar low. If been told I should only be feeding het 2oz every 3 hours apparently this will help with the reflux and help her body digest the nutramigen. They don't want to put her onto an amino milk apparently.
Its been awful, she's still refusing and so hungry she was taking 4oz. She's 9 weeks now, I can't see how 2oz is enough

What’s the reason they don’t want to try the amino milk? Did they say?
