My ds is allergic to Dairy, Egg, Nuts, Cats etc. We saw the consultant last week and he is being tested on goats milk this week as I think it may be making his tummy bad - been toilet training and my thoughts are that he is having probs in one area as he is not "solid" sorry tmi!!! - so, just in case has anyone tried Rice Milk as an alternative. He hates soya (and I can't say I blame him. I have bought some Rice Milk but am waiting with baited breath to see if he likes it!

Any experience out there?

My son loved it. It is very sweet. He would not drink soya, but would gulp down rice milk. He was aged 1 at the time, but had it until he was around 3 years old.

dd1 also dairy egg allergy - LOVES rice milk.
Has it on cereal every morning. And since watching charlie and lola occasionally has it in the form of pink milk (with cordial in).

We get the one with added calcium.

I know of someone whose child drank lots of rice milk and has ended up having several fillings at age 4. He had hardly any sweet and sugary foods apart from this. It may have been that his teeth were quite weak anyway, but just thoght I'd mention this to you.

Can't help with kids, but when I was experimenting with non-dairy, I hated rice milk as it was far too sweet, but I really got on with oat milk (for cereal, not for tea and coffee)
