Allergies and intolerances

soya allergy?

My son is allergic to all nuts he has tried and sesame seeds (not anaphylactic), at the weekend he has a reaction to something where the only allergens listed were soybean oil, soya lecithin and wheat. He had the itchy mouth and then vomited 30 mins later.
He has previously eaten this product and had soy sauce and other products with soya. I realise he can have gradually become allergic as he used to be able to eat almond but now has a reaction to them, but can you get/should I get him tested for this new allergy as I don't really know what needs to be avoided. Supposedly not many people are allergic to soya lecithin?

Not sure how typical we are but DS1 is very very allergic to all things soya - even just walking into a room and inhaling the fumes when I stir fry. He always vomits violently, and has blinding headaches, if exposed to soya.

No 'traces of nuts' on label, I've been in touch with the manufacturer and they are investigating to check for cross contamination.
He's allergic to any nut he's tried and has had skin prick test through a paediatrician (not allergy specialist) and showed positive to all the nuts they tested for. He gets a hot itchy throat, often vomits but is ok with antihistamine.
