Shop-bought cake for wheat/dairy/soy/egg/some nuts free diet?

Are there any shop-bought cakes or treats I could eat?

I can't have:

Wheat
Dairy (well, lactose)
Soya
Dried fruit
Hazelnuts
Peanuts
Coconut
Banana
Melon
Kiwi

Things which 'may contain' are all fine.

I'm not going to be cooking my own for a bit as I have a 2.9 y.o. and a 2 day old! :)

In the thread title you mention eggs but not in your post itself. Can you have eggs? If not, I have to be honest and say that it's very unlikely you'll find a cake that you can buy off the shelf. Wheat and dairy free is OK in most supermarket freefrom sections but wheat, dairy, soya and egg free is nigh on impossible in my experience, especially given the other foods you've listed. Soya is a particularly difficult one as so many 'freefrom' foods use soya instead of dairy. Sorry I can't be more helpful but hopefully others on here will have some suggestions. My DS is allergic to milk, wheat, eggs & nuts but not soya so I can't really recommend anything suitable plus I've always struggled to find any cakes he can eat anyway :(

Yes, I forgot to add egg.

I guessed there would be virtually nothing - egg & soya are new foods fome to have to avoid and it was tricky to find things before.

Hi there Angel. My Dd has to avoid a lot of the same things as you. She's on dairy now but when she wasn't I ordered from this company.

I did order a sample from them and it was good, but my fear of poisoning my daughter meant that I ate it ALL instead. I remember they were really helpful and lovely.

If this is no good, then Vegan cakes are really easy and quick to make. I've tried with doves farm flour. It looks and feel like a proper cake. I could taste a Slight aftertaste when I first made it but 4 cakes in, and I hardly do now. I made a simple glacé icing for mine with Tate and lyles icing sugar and water instead of the one in the recipe, because I was making a hello kitty head cake for my dd. we use Bournville cocoa powder as it seems to be one of the few that are free from lots of the usual warnings.
