Seems only 2 minutes ago I was on here asking for advice regarding little ones social worker coming to visit us.

On Monday we are finally starting intros and get to meet our little pumpkin.

101 emotions rolled into one!!!!

Make sure you have a fridge full of meals that are easy to cook / heat up . You will be very very tired when you get home .

Also make sure that friends and family don't phone you - agree that you will update everyone by text / email . Again, because you will be too tired to talk.

It's wonderful but very emotionally draining, so please look after yourselves

Be as nice as you possibly can to the foster carers and their children ( if they have any ) . This will make everyone's life's easier, especially yours and your child's.

I have an amazing mother in law who has taken a key and is popping in every day with meals for us :)

We seem to be getting in very well with the foster carer. She has been sending us videos and updates on the little one two to three times a day so I'm hoping everything should be okay with her.

So scary isn't it lol.

CONGRATULATIONS!
We were away from home for intros and in some ways it was easier.
Get yourself Amazon Prime (free trial) so you can order all those things you didn't realise you'd need.
I bet its now very real for you. Mind blowing!
Good luck !

I love your MIL!

And the Fc sounds great , if you get a good one it makes everything so much easier . I hope you will reciprocate and keep her up to date with how your LO is doing when she's home with you .

Sending you warmest best wishes for the week ahead .

First day went well. She was very cautious with us but we managed to get a cuddle from her and my partner had her in giggles and she was copying him too which was sweet.

We had been told she was small but was suprised at how small she is. But she's beautiful xx

Four days in now and things are going really well. She's letting us feed and change her. Lots of cuddles and giggles from her.

Had a small outing with her today and she was an absolute diamond :) xxx
