Going to information sharing meeting tomorrow. Any ideas for questions you wished you'd asked?

Feel a bit deflated after information sharing. Felt very sad. So many people that are so important that they will be leaving. I feel guilty for taking them away. Fc has had them for 2 years and they are her first placement. She was quite emotional bless her.

It's tough isn't it? I know adopted children that have literally been with FC since the day after they were born, and it's tough on everyone. DD's FC said to us that the day they don't cry on placement is the day that they stop fostering. Sad

But the positive here is that the DC need their "forever family", and the FC will be able to do the amazing job of providing a different type of care and support to other DC. So try to think of it as a good outcome for everyone
Thanks

As a birth parent it is hard for everyone involved. It was hard to say goodbye to the people who had looked after my son for me whilst decisions on his future were made. I will be eternally grateful for all they done for myself and my son.

You can't look after a child in my opionion for a number of months or even years without getting attached.
