Job application asks for willingness to work outside normal hours if needed

Hi,
I'm applying for a position and one of the desirable attributes is a willingness to work outside of normal hours if necessary.

I already do this (e.g. wake up early to get some writing done, work over the weekends) but I don't want to put it in the application as an essential. Any advice on how best to address this?

Thanks

You can be willing sometimes but not able? So if you are prepared to be asked to wrk outside hours and agree to it if you are free, then you can happily say you are willing.

However if being asked to work extra or if you feel you are in danger of being obligated to work extra do not mention this as an 'attribute'. I would maybe mention what you are prepared to do occasionally but mention when asked that you also occasionally have other commitments that cannot be dropped and ask if that would be a problem.
