My gallbladder was removed on Monday. Tuesday I just felt tended and out of it, then was discharged that day. Wednesday and Thursday I just felt really sore muscle wise. I booked in with my new GP because I was a bit shocked at how tender non invasive keyhole felt. He reassured me it was just muscle but did a quick scan to check no bile was leaking. It wasn’t.

Until yesterday when I felt like I had gallstones again! It was as if my gallbladder had come back.

Last night I was in such excruciating pain that it woke me up. It feels EXACTLY like a gallbladder attack, except it seems to ‘wash over’ me, started from my chest to my stomach. I can only get comfortable if laying completely still. If I move to my left side, the pain will come on in a wave and slowly die down again... if I move to my right side.. well I just can’t. It’s bloody too much! And won’t go away.

The pain is pretty much constantly there in the background and then again, like a gallbladder attack, comes on very suddenly as an intense pain. I’d describe it like the feeling of a heart attack (same as gallbladder attack when it was bad). This time though if seems more intense then when it was removed.

What could this be? Anyone else suffered like this? I read so many good stories about everyone finally being happy and rid of their gallbladder
