80s music help

Heard a song in the coop the other day which had given me an earworm, but driving me mad because I can't remember what it's called or who is by.

Upbeat, male vocal with a fairly poppy guitar riff. The only bit of lyric I can remember is "I love you just the same" (or maybe 'all the same').
It sounds so familiar but I just can't narrow it down. As I can't remember any more lyrics I'm finding it hard to search.

Super-quick Whiskers thankyou! And yes, I had the wrong era which is a bit poor of me - they'd been playing jangly 80s stuff previously, so I got caught in the moment.
Hopefully I can listen to it today and free my brain from it.
