Am I the only one who makes up excuses not to go out?

I am a social person but I have begun to realise that going out late and drinking does not do me any favours any longer. So I’ve started to avoid some, not all, social events. So for example went out on Saturday night and I was hungover on Sunday, been invited out on Friday but made up an excuse to not go out. I know I could go and not drink but I just want to be able to relax on Friday.

Will arrange something with the person for during the week during the day, a coffee and cake out (it’s a group going out on Friday for her birthday, last minute thing!).

Am I the only one???
