Has anyone had treatment for tooth decay on front teeth? If so what did they do ? Or any dentists can give me advice what they will do ? Yes I am aware my child shouldn't have tooth decay , he does brush twice daily has a good diet no fizzy pop etc etc his older sibling has perfect teeth so no lectures on diet or brushing please , they've been referred to a dental hospital but I feel I've been waiting forever hes not even been assessed his dentist said he has mild decay and referred him its the 4 front teeth have decay I am just wondering if anyone has been in this position and what did the dentist do :)

Is he having any pain with the teeth? If not, good, the important thing is that the decay doesn't get worse. If it's only mild the dental hospital may prefer just to monitor it as it's hard to treat toddlers.
Does he have a bottle still? Even milk in a bottle over night can cause problems. A cup is best.
The dentist can put fluoride on the decayed teeth to slow it down, but the best thing to do is to keep brushing and be really careful with hidden sugars. It sounds like you're doing the right things though.

Thank you for your reply, no thankfully no pain never has been , he give his bottle up at about 12 months old doesn't drink milk now only water and thats out of a water bottle or cup , hopefully they can do some fluoride treatment am just more worried that the decay will spread and they will turn black and infected 🙈 I can't stop obsessing over his teeth and watching every minute what he's eating etc
