How’s your Sunday going? Waiting for our roast beef dinner, unfortunately minus Yorkshire puds but with a load of roast spuds & carrots, cauliflower cheese, petitpois & gravy. So hungry! Didn’t do a lot today but certainly thought about doing stuff & it’s the thought that counts! My legs have been really aching so I didn’t clean the bathroom even though it’s way overdue. I did go to Pets At Home & Asda. Our new dishwasher was delivered this morning. I was very excited - definitely need to get out more!

You eat late, op ! Sounds delicious anyway.
All quiet, here. Granddaughter in bed ( she's trying a few diversion techniques which always make me laugh. I marvel at her ingenuity!)
Dog is snoring next to me.
OH said he'd bring me a cup of tea, but that was 30 minutes ago . I would go and make my it myself but dog is on my foot !
Just realised we can eat in pubs tomorrow. I've missed dining out, yet now it's here, I'm not that bothered.

We often eat late - in the week it’s because DH finishes work at 8 but I’m not sure why at weekends. This time it was because everything took longer than anticipated.

We had a lazy pj day today after a busy week. DH popped out earlier and got us a take away for dinner. I done a few washings and a Tesco order now having a glass of prosecco and looking for something good to watch.

Oh and dd is standing on a chair as she seen a spider. DH is turning the house upside down looking for it and the dog is hiding behind the curtains (I am ignoring all of the spider hysteria)

Just had roast pork, roast potatoes, cabbage, carrots, broccoli, gravy, apple sauce, gravy, English and French mustard. With a glass of wine.

We tidied up and sat on the sofa.

Melting middle chocolate puddings with cream for pudding. Husband made a cafeteria of coffee for us.

Today we:

Took a load of cardboard to the dump. Came home, had coffee, went for a walk. Had lunch back home. Tidied up, sat on the sofa, had a snooze. My husband did the ironing whilst I cooked the dinner and made a Bolognese sauce for tomorrow.

I worked the early shift on our surgical ward, then DP collected me and we went to the farm shop. DP acquired three packs of their sausages! And some fruit and veg. We had gammon, eggs and chips for tea. I went to sleep after tea, I like my job very much but the early mornings are a killer. DP has had a bath and is now playing with the cat. I’m going to make some tea and do some cooking for the freezer if I can.

I'm lying under a sleeping baby watching fantastic beasts, ds1 is on his xbox, ds2 has just had a bath and dp is messing around registering his new toys tools on his laptop.

How do people eat dinner and drink coffee so late at night? I would be up till about 3 in the morning if I drank coffee at this time and I'm a coffee addict 🤣

DP and I are relaxing on our bed with iPads and chat, after spending the day reorganising our home office. PurplecatDog and one of the Purplecats are chilling with us. A nice Sunday evening.

Surprisingly, after a late night drinking, I woke up at 6am (without an alarm!), made a cuppa and did my online shop as my recurring delivery slot would've run out tonight.

I then spent the morning pottering about and drinking tea and water until about 11am.

I spent the next 5 hrs or so painting the summerhouse.

I've spent the evening trying to sort out emergency dental treatment for my 19yo and trying to help.
Finally got seen around 8pm, and they've managed to clean the tooth out and control the pain enough to allow her to sleep and she can then contact her normal dentist tomorrow for antibiotics.

Got home around 8.40pm and had a late dinner of chicken and new potatoes with veg and now in bed cuddling dog and browsing mumsnet.

It's nearly 6.45.a.m. in Melbourne and as black as your hat. The microwave's just beeped with my morning porridge. Ducted heating blasting away. Dog asleep on the sofa.I've packed my lunch: home-made soup.

Love these threads
I was up at 5 ready for a 12 hour shift at work. DP was at home with our 5 year old.
I came home, had tea, helped DD with homework.
DP bathed DD while I sorted school uniforms out for the morning.
Currently finishing my 3rd glass of wine while DP annoyingly scrolls through Disney plus, our bulldog is snoring loudly and DD is in bed

We had a lie in until 9! Then went to pick DS up from my mums (she had him last night as me and DH were working late). Brought DS home and had lunch then dropped DH off at work. DS napped on me while I watched a film. He woke up and I made dinner (moussaka). We had play time, bath time then bedtime. DS was in bed for 8 and I watched telly, DH is now home from work so we'll say hi and then go to sleep.

I love these threads too.
I made DH bring me coffee in bed this morning before getting up and making packed lunches. Took Ds to hockey whilst DH took DD to gym. We met up in the middle to have our vaccine.
Went to a friend's for coffee after lunch, then popped to see my mum followed by DH's parents in the garden. Made a leek and cheese pie for dinner (including the pastry so I was quite pleased with myself), helped dd with her homework, cleaned the car and took the dogs out. Managed to watch the first episode of White Lines whilst sorting washing before collapsing in to bed to start again tomorrow...
