Dogs jumping off bridge

I was watching a tv programme which mentioned dog suicide so i googled it and found this www.google.com/amp/s/www.independent.co.uk/news/long_reads/dog-suicide-bridge-scotland-dumbarton-scottish-gorge-a8849146.html%3famp. Has anyone been there ? Any local info? Have to say its very strange

I saw a documentary about this a long time ago and they figured out that there was some animal or plant in that area that really attracted dogs. Once the dogs were on the bridge, the bridge walls were very high and solid so the dogs couldn't see over, they could just smell this intoxicating scent coming from over the wall. The dogs obviously didn't know it was a bridge, they probably thought it was a wall into a garden, so they blindly jumped over to get to the source of the smell and fell to their deaths.

I love a bit of woo. Spent far too much time last night on this but even the non woo people still admit theres a strange feeling on the bridge

I read about this by chance yesterday! Apparently they did a load of studies and think it's the smell of mink that lures them.
