Any WFH//back to work tips?

I'm returning to work tomorrow after 18 months of maternity/parental leave. I'll be working 4 days a week in a professional role, at home for at least the next few months, and DS will be in nursery while I'm working (until it inevitably closes/his bubble bursts).

I had a shaky few years work-wise prior to maternity leave for various reasons so I'm looking forward to getting stuck in. Any advice from those who've been there and done it about how to make the most of WFH, routines with a toddler when you've got a full on job and how to make sure that I actually fit in time to get dressed and maybe even do some exercise would be hugely appreciated!

Take your lunch break every day and get out for a quick walk even if just 15mins

Set your start time for a time and set a routine.
Take time to call your colleagues to have a natter.

I don't have my camera turned on until lunchtime ... when I exercise and wash.

Keep a smart jersey frock and jacket close to your desk to pull on when your boss / external wants a video call.

Don't be afraid to say now is not a good time..... everyone understands.

Love the idea of not having my camera on until lunch; definitely going to try that one. There was an email last week from my ultimate boss which basically said please don't make things video calls unless they really need to so I will fully embrace that message!

I'll be doing the nursery run on foot so hoping that will give me a bit of a break and fresh air too.

Thanks for the tips!
