So we have a house full of the bloody things.
Slight exaggeration, but I actually want to cry. We have three and possibly four horseflies dive bombing me continually. They land on my laptop screen and crawl across it. They land on my hands and my wrists and bite me, and my lower arms are now a mass of blisters. (I'm allergic to the little fuckers.)

They bite me in the night when I'm in bed, on my shoulders and my back.
They bite my legs in the garden.
DH - who's hairy AF and very dark skinned - is sympathetic but bemused, has offered to go and buy fly paper but that won't be till tomorrow.
It sounds so silly but I'm just so fed up with the bloody things BITING me....

To add: it's not a rash from something else, I've actually sat and watched the little twat on my hand and then ten minutes later pop! up comes the blister.

Why don't you just go and buy a can of raid or something like that from homebase/b&q and nuke them?

Also need to find out where they are coming from to nip it in the bud. bins outside/inside changed regularly?

I keep trying! (we've got one of those bug zapper things in the kitchen, they'd rather eat me)
What I usually end up doing is belting myself :-( the little bastards don't settle anywhere but on ME.
I don't use fly spray in the house as DH is asthmatic and it makes him wheezy.

Wack em with a tea towel. Don't have to get to close so they fly off before you get the chance that way. You have to be quick tho.

Place a few cleaned out yogurt pots with half and half Cider Vinegar and sugary stuff around you. Leftover red wine is a good companion, but who ever has that!

They are idiots and will fall into the pots pretty quickly. I love seeing them self destruct.
