Extension cord with power strip so you only need one adaptor
Clothes
Toiletries
Passports
Each kid gets one rucksack, you choose some books and toys, they choose some too

And most important: washable face masks!! Invest in buying multiple ones, and stow them everywhere as you will almost certainly need them for while you are travelling, shopping, in attractions and when entering restaurants. Handybands that go round your neck work too.

Breath Wink. You've got loads of time. Get yourself a cuppa (or stronger) and sit down with pad and pen and write a list. It will only take you an hour and you'll feel much more in control. Don't iron anything if you have access to one there. Make sure you have the essentials (passport, tickets, money, medication, paperwork for car hire, villa, etc. Anything else you can buy there if you happen to forget it.

Enjoy!Wine

Face masks for travel and (depending on destination) shops attractions etc. Washable is best.
Passports money credit card paperwork for car / villa. Tickets for plane.
Clothes - swimwear
Sunscreen, hats, sunglasses. Medication.
Entertainment for flight / down time.

Chargers for phones / devices.

Transfer to airport / airport parking?

Before leaving check all windowS and doors locked. Unplug anything unnecessary. Pets to cattery / kneels etc.

Have you never been on holiday before? Don't you have a list?

Keep a note of all the suggestions and save as a list, add anything else you think of and cross off things you decide you didn't need and next time you'll be able to go on holiday at a moment's notice without worrying about forgetting anything.

I have lists for different types of holidays that have been refined over the years and would be lost without them.

Google mumsnet holiday packing list, there's different option depending on the holiday type and Ive always found them really useful.
I do have a set of fixed extras I add on, sunbed clips and extension lead are two that come to mind.

Take antibacterial wipes to clean everything when you get there.

For minimum clothes packing:
For each person write down a list of day outfits and a list of evening outfits. Assume each pair of shorts/trousers/skirts etc gets used more than once and each top just once. Evening outfits (If you need them) twice. Then you can identify the rights bras, pants, jewellery and shoes for each without overpacking.
You won’t wear it all as you wrote it down but you’ll end up with a type of capsule wardrobe.

Job for today: wash all the undies from the laundry pile so you have enough to pack.
