Dental bridge help!

I will be calling the dentist tomorrow, but thought I’d ask on here first. I had a dental bridge on my front teeth when I was younger, just recently a black line has appeared at the gum line, I know they need to be replaced. Unfortunately I’m in Wales and they’re not allowed to perform any dental procedures that use water until January! Does anyone know if they can temporarily fix it until then, either by reinserting or cementing my existing ones or by doing temporary ones without using water? I’m really self conscious about them and it’s very noticeable and they’re right in the front. Thanks!

I don’t think there’s much you can do unfortunately OP. They would need water in order to remove all the cement from the tooth/teeth beside the bridge in order to place a temporary. Temporary crowns don’t usually look great either and would pop off easy enough, especially between now and January.

Your dentist might have another idea if they’re used to working without water at this stage but you are probably best to wait and get a new bridge in the new year.
