Positive changes

Hi just wondered if anyone wanted to share any kind of positive changes or ideas as a result of the current situation. Flowers

I have seen some funded courses online

www.theskillsnetwork.com/employers/courses?funded=true

Interested in possible changes to pedestrianising city centres also

In the spirit of stoicism, and also because things are changing and people may be looking for different jobs / careers or ways of making things work.

I thought maybe could share for motivation and maybe inspire each other (and be good to have a break from some of the negativity in the news etc)

This is a personal one but I’d always thought I was a bit of a crap parent, but lockdown has forced me to reevaluate. If you told me that it’d basically be dd and I for months with no school or activities and only local exercise I’d never have thought I’d cope. It’s not been easy but I’ve hidden most of my moods from her, been her advocate and made sure she’s not been scared at all by the virus. Our relationship has got closer and she says the worst thing about lockdown ending is spending less time with me.

I still can’t wait for school and activities to resume but if dd is ok I’ve done what I set out to do at the start and am a stronger parent now.

Yes I think that sometimes gong through difficult stuff can make us more resilient in a way. Flowers glad to hear that about you and your daughter Wales.
