Does anyone else have this calendar? We have opened number 2 and only got half an empty pot (similar to the kinder egg pots that hold the toy)...no toy and no other half of the pot. My son is very dissapointed and i am a little Confused

We had a schleich calendar last year and we’re pretty disappointed. Day upon day of indistinct lumps which I think were meant to be animal food.

Does it show you on the packaging what you're supposed to get? Normally these fancy advent calendars do. Does it look like any of the items they say you'll get? Or maybe part of a larger piece that you will get other parts of on later days?

It shows you on the back of the packet what you'll get. The pot is an egg shell.

I guess its part of a larger part then as shown on the box but is only half the pot/egg, which i didnt expect so i was asking incase maybe ours was just missing the rest of the parts Confused. So they have spread the dinosaur and its egg over 3 days, which seems a bit mean!

I got one last summer vastly reduced and my son had it last advent. It was a pile of shite. He was so disappointed and I would have been furious had I paid the £25/29.99??? Full price.
Every day was a random misshapen lump or a mini mini mini dinosaur. He is a very careful boy who rarely loses anything, especially dino related. I've no idea where any of this crap ended up.
So disappointing. I live in hope for your child this year's is a bit better.

Judging by the looks of the back of that box posted by peachgreen you are going to get two measly plants split into 7 tiny parts. Sorry OP it looks a bit crap.

Or possibly 9 parts if you have to include the base of the plantConfused

Yeah if you count all the parts of the tree separately it makes 24 bits in total. Pretty shit but unfortunately it does make it clear on the box.

@peachgreen Its clear on the photo you posted but my box doesn't have that displayed on the back of it so i have no clue how the pieces will be made up. If i had of seen the box as above i would have sent it back! First and last time of buying a fancy calendar - back to chocolate next year!

Oh, don't give up on fancy advent calendars. We've had Playmobil which was awesome and has been played with during the two years since. We had Smiggle last year which was also good value. This year is Lego which seems fine so far.

We always used to have playmobil, which was fab. Lego was less so, but at least if they get a random Lego brick it is still meaningful. Your's sounds really shit. Any chance of returning?

I would definitely return it if the contents aren't displayed on the box, that's rubbish!

I dont think i can return now its been opened? We got the base of the plant today , its pretty naff the way they do it and if i had of known i wouldnt have kept it. Annoying but my son said he was happy with it today as i explained that the bits will make a bigger toy/scene...
