I don't really know where to start it's a long one sorry. I'm just so upset. Since my brother met his fiance (she's an only child not sure if that is relevant)I've been slowly pushed out of my family, it started with little things like we asked my mum and step dad if they wanted to come to the zoo (30 min down the road from them) with us and the children at 10.30 but they said they were to tired and it was to early in the morning, then my brother and his fiance asked 10 minute later if mum could bring them breakfast at a rowing event 2 hours away for 6am, mum said yes absolutely no problem. Then my brother and fiance started doing things like not inviting us to my mother's birthday bbq we only found out about it because of pictures on social media, my husband and I tried to arrange a family holiday as a surprise for my mum and step dad but we were told they couldn't get time off work, we then found out my brother and his fiance went ahead and booked a holiday for them all without us. Fiance and mum arranged mums wedding together, it was dressed up as a surprise for me because I was pregnant they didn't want me to get stressed and I should be grateful I was just a guest. We haven't spent a single Christmas as a family since she came along, mum often goes 3- 4 months without seeing us but spends most weekends with brother and his fiance. If I say anything I'm just imagining it, it's all in my head. Now to the wedding. Brother and fiance booked their wedding for early August next year all good, myself and my daughters were asked to be bridesmaids and my husband and son groomsmen, the kids were so excited it's the first time they have been asked to be bridesmaids/ groomsmen. My in laws wanted to book tickets to take our children to a show on a Friday in September for their Christmas presents obviously we said yes the show has now sold out. Then my brother and fiance changed venue and dates for their wedding a 3 day affair, Friday, Saturday and Sunday with the actual wedding on Saturday. The dates booked for the wedding are the same weekend as the show. I didn't think it would be a problem we would just get there early Saturday morning and get ready with everyone else. Only we've now been told that it would be to stressful for everyone for us to turn up on the morning of the weddings and that as we won't prioritise their wedding and cancel going to the show we are no longer allowed to be involved in the wedding. My children are distraught they are only 10, 7 and 4 and don't understand why they can't see the show and be in the wedding. Now I've been accused of causing a rift in the family. Am I? Is this my fault?
