Should I/how do I report this?

Bit of a tricky one so bear with me

A girl in work goes out with a chap I used to go to school with - his family still lives in my area

She has recently found out that he has been sexting (very) underage girls. She has pictures and chats saved but isn't going to go to the police.

Can I report this to the police? I know his name and the town he now lives in, but nothing else and i don't want to raise suspicions by asking

Yes, definitely. That's enough info to go to the police.

Can I do it anonymously? Is there really enough evidence? Who do I contact?

Reporting through Crimestoppers is anonymous

crimestoppers-uk.org/

They have an online form or you can call 0800 555 111

don't worry about having 'enough evidence', that's not your job. Report what you know, anonymously if you want to (Google crimestoppers or use the link in previous comment). Let the Police gather evidence. Even if they can't prosecute him without the girlfriends help, they can at least put a shot across his bows and more importantly try to safeguard any young girls he has direct access to.

Include any information you might know like age and details of his relatives that you might know ( not to implicate them but to help narrow down who he is). If he has a common-ish name ( Eg Mark Baker) they’re going to need some help narrowing down which exact person you’re talking about.
