Gadget for 10yo to listen to music

Buying a gift for a 10yo who wants something to listen to digital music in her bedroom with.

I was thinking of an Alexa and Spotify subscription but not sure if there’s a better option (she doesn’t have a phone so not sure how easy Spotify is to use without one, would set it all up through a parents ohone)

Why not an Alexa and Amazon music unlimited? All of 3.99 a month for one device. That's what I have.
