How much screen time do you allow?

How much ? And age of child please? My 5 yr old Ds has been Having way too much iPad time but in my defence it’s down to me having a young baby but baby Is 6 months now and things are getting easier so I need to crack down on this and was wondering on what others might do. Also does tv/film count in the screen time usage or is it just iPads/tablets etc?

All screens count. Mine get an hour in the morning (less on a nursery day) and an hour just before dinner if they have earned it with good behaviour. Some days it's less than this and occasionally it's more such as they watch a film at the weekend or I am really needing to get something done. I used to get really stressed about them having too much but they need some down time I think and they do so many other activities within the day such as park, reading books, free play, jigsaws. I find if it's good quality TV such as cbeebies it can really set of their imaginations and they play really well for ages afterwards.
