Please tell me it's okay to not be with the father of my child. Tell me that I don't need to be treated like this everyday. Tell me that I deserve better than this. I can't go on any longer treading on eggshells worried I might do or say the wrong thing. Please give me the courage I need to walk away and not look back. Please give me the courage to not blame myself any longer

It is right to leave an abusive relationship. It's tough in the short term but worth it.

How are you OP?

You do deserve better. I hope you can find a way to leave.

You do deserve better, you don't deserve to be treated badly and it is okay to leave.i hope you manage to start putting some plans together, and you could consider posting in relationships for more support as that forum is a lot busier and there are many posters who have been where you are now and have come through it.

How are you today OP? I guess you have a lot to think about.

You have EVERY RIGHT to leave a relationship that does not make you happy. Your DC needs you, love, food, warmth, care and mostly you. You need to take care of yourself for your DC.

Really, leaving, once it is done, is never as scary as you think. Believe me. Been there! Staying was by far the hardest and worst thing.

Get some advice from CAB and a solicitor, and get out of there.

If it is bad then walk away.
I did, i was scared, made to feel guilty, worried i wouldnt cope on my own, worried that people would judge me.

It is the best thing i have ever done. Yes it was really hard at first but i dont regret it for one second.
