nice doll for a 3yr old

my DD, who is 3 just before Christmas, would dearly love a doll/pramset.

Could anyone recommend a fairly low cost doll - that closes its eyes - maybe a couple of other features? DD1 had a baby Annabel years ago that barely got played with (though that was more to do with DD1 than the doll) but i dont think i could stretch that far - and i think DD2 is a little too rough for an expensive doll

I was going to recommend Corolle but although they are tough and well-made and attractive (much more so than Baby Annabel IMO) they are far from cheap...
